So this is interesting, in Old Town Alexandria, there is a landmark called "The Spite House", you can google it, but the story is that the owner of the house next door got tired of drunk people going through the alleyway and making noise and waking him up so he built a house there and rented it out! lol... How cool is that? I didn't know you could buy an alley? Anyway the house is 7 feet wide! If I stretch out I can touch it end to end! I had no idea that someone actually lived there! I thought it was a tourist attraction and we could go inside! Sorry! I heard a couple rented it before they bought there boat to see if they could live in such a space. Turns out they could! Could you?

Must be a status symbol among cities to have a 7 foot house. I remember seeing one in Amsterdam.

It is 7 feet (2,13 m) wide but also about 25 (7,62 m) feet deep and it has 2 stories, so that's 325 square feet (30 square meters), that's not that bad?

I've seen pictures of places like this before and always wondered what was behind building such a place. I don't know, maybe they were all pictures of this place, lol.

So, it never occurred to you that there were people inside looking out the front window to see Vicky Vette spreading herself all over their front porch?

I know right? I only googled it after the picture! Then walked away quickly! Lol..

I don't care what you say lol I could stay in a house like this for maybe a weekend.... And then I would be claustrophobic..... I did try living in a travel trailer for a few months..... I didn't even have enough room for my shoes!

A couple of times, I've enjoyed reading about the chase for John Wilkes Booth. Once I even traced the trip out on Google Earth. If I were to get to Washington, I would probably follow that route. Of course, a lot of it doesn't exist any more, and it all looks different. But once you get out of Washington it becomes easier to trace. I also found the site of the barn where he was captured. Nothing is there now. The barn was burned down to get him out, and the house is long gone. But there's a marker on the highway, and at the site of the barn, there is another marker, if I remember correctly. I think there are still some items in the ground at the site. Not much, but a little.

I remember Operation, but I don't think I ever played it. I was too busy with Mr. Potato Head, lol.
