Going Live with the new WebRTC CAM SYSTEM!

This isn't specifically about The WebRTC system, but more about mobile devices, specifically the IPhone. Will it help here with video streaming? While it talks about getting on line with Safari, it doesn't seem to specifically address on-line ops. But, with covering set-up and all the other things, it would certainly help you get your phone set up correctly so that it will work at it's optimum. My attitude is "If I'm going to spend $1,000 on a pocket computer, I may as well learn how to use the dang thing."

The book is 8-1/2" x 11", is printed on heavy stock, has 140 pages, large print , pictures and illustrations. I think it's great for only $20.

We still have this banner on screen and, especially when the view is like this, people complain. Do we really need a banner that says who is on line when we can see her on line? Sometimes it is below the window, but mostly up in the air like this pic.

I do agree! It always seems to be blocking the good stuff even though it's translucent… I just put in a request to have it removed.

I'm so sorry the cam system has been hiccuping lately... Ant Media seems to be having a lot of issues ... we are considering going back to Wowsa. Last resort, today after Monica's show they wiped out Ant Media and did a fresh install from scratch of the newest version... I'll be testing it tomorrow... If that doesn't fix our tech issues, we'll dump antmedia and go back to wowsa. Sorry! Doing our best here!

My programmers said that the latest browser updates may have caused things to not work correctly. They may have to redo some stuff... it's on ongoing problem and money pit! That's what I get! Grrrrr.... Can the world please stop spinning I just want to get off.... No I mean I really just want to jerk off... lol...

I know what you mean. One person updates their software, then the rest of the world has to make changes to how they operate. I know that makes it rough for you. If you want to jerk off, I'm here to help.

When I was at Monica's show today, I could see Monica's cam but banner for Vicky's next show was on top of it. I tried refreshing but that didn't help.

Dan, if it happens again, try totally closing your browser and restarting it. If that doesn't work, try rebooting. Let us know if it works.

If that happens it's because Monica has such a low connection that it doesn't detect there is a show on.

It only is supposed to display the banners when there is no show in progress. If she disconnects and reconnect again hopefully she would have a better connection that the system would recognize and therefore not show the banners.

Just FYI after Julia's show today we upgraded ant media to the latest, they came out with one more version after the version that had the echo... I streamed for 45 min tonight and it seems to be flawless... unreal why this happens in the first place... fingers crossed for tomorrow!

We are doing a test stream at 11 am this morning, EST, if anyone is around, could you log into the camroom and help test? Just more people will simulate a real live show.... Ant Media says they tested my server and it was fine.

This is more about the forum than the cam system, but letting everyone know that the "newmedia" link above is not working. VIcky has been notified and is working on it. I might suggest you continue using it, and we'll be able to see everything once it's fixed. Otherwise, the "link" link works just fine.
