Is it the fault of the people who simply provide a platform or the fault of the people doing the uploading (and the makers of the clips)?

In today's world, platform providers should be responsible for the content posted on their sites. And if they're shown to be hiding and rehosting illegal content, then they're liable, seems to me.

If you allow users to upload directly, its hard to make the platform responsible. But the platforms can be required to strongly validate the identity of uploaders BEFORE they upload so that they can be traced if necessary.

If they are deliberately rehosting illegal content, they should obviously be hung, drawn and quartered.

On most platforms there is 0 control over the identity of the uploaders. Anyone can upload anything using vpn's so you don't even know what country the user is in. That is how we got into this situation. Minors have full access to it. Yet us website owners are under strict government scrutiny, can be inspected and subpeona'd anytime, and have to have mountains of paperwork for our website content, that is behind a pay wall that minors cannot access. It's so ass backwards.

I like the idea of a documentary about erotic art. But documentaries usually get the permission of the museums and also interview the relevant art historians and experts there. Done right, I think it would be awesome. Done by PornHub, well, I guess the kindest thing I can say is that I have low expectations. Very low expectations.

I'm missing something (as usual.) While the original works are in the museums, aren't pictorial representations all over the world? Isn't this saying that doing something pornographic with a picture is wrong? Doesn't that already happen all the time? Are the museums getting a little stuffy?

There are pornographic pictures all over the walls of Old Pompeii. Does this mean that you can't use those images to recreate porn without the express written permission of whomever is in charge of Old Pompeii?

They are being sued again! The original 60 girls won, so now more of the girls who were duped/forced into performing are now sueing them. It gets worse! After selling to "Ethical Partners Group" and rebranding themselves as "Aylo" they kept on profiting from the girls videos. This was after Girls Do Porn was declared a federally convicted sex trafficing ring. The girls kept begging them to take the videos down but they still didn't.
