a few of my personal thoughts on the death of larry flynt

i want to start off by saying i never knew larry flynt personally and larry flynt never even knew i existed...but that does not matter at all

my mom and dad got divorced in 1987..i was 16 at the time...my dad was a fighter pilot in the air force and we were in spain at the time..and he was a tom cruise type who had a hard time dealing with my cerebral palsy...so i was glad they split up

my mom and my brother and i came back to tucson arizona because that is where she grew up and you come back to family

being disabled when i turned kindergarten age we were stationed in alabama...and if you do the math...it was not too far from the 1960s...and they told me i could not start kindergarten because i was disabled..so i started a year and a half later and im just as smart and literate as anyone..it was just discrimination

i was in high when we came back home...and there was a guy named jeff who was in a chair too..at 3 years old he fell out of a tree and broke his spine

we became good friends because we both had a porn brain and we talked about naked women...yes we have teenage pervert brains...he later in his 20s married a stripper but that lasted 2 months because she was a gold digger and wanted to hang out with sugar daddies but that is a different story for a different time

jeff's mom was a nurse and she was the one to buy him hustlers..i never asked her why...but jeff looks like the lead singer of led zepplin and he was always rubbing in my face all the time that hew fucked every girl that he saw...i highly doubt that ...and also every inch of his room he taped a picture of a naked woman..that was all in his room

until my junior year of high school i never even say a playboy or hustler...and i have never ever seen a real life breathing naked woman..and i still have not at 49..i have just seen porn

jeff was going to get me a subscription to hustler just so i could masturbate...that never happened...the closest thing that happened was he gave me his old hustlers on the school bus...on the the bus it was just the 2 of us because it was a handicap school buses ..you know the small ones...

it was then i found out that larry flynt was in a wheelchair...and that was so very extremely profound on me on every layer of my brain..it was then i realized that maybe just maybe that wheelchair guys can be competitive with walking guys when it comes to sex...if naked women loved larry flynt then they might love me too..of course i forgot the small detail that larry flynt paid women to be naked...and i had no money...but it gave me hope

i wrote larry flynt a letter..back in the dinosaur days of actually writing a letter with a thing called a stamp lol i see you laughing...i wrote him a letter and i said what i just said...that he was my inspiration that i might get laid one day because we are both wheelchair guys..and i have been feeling like a loser because im convinced no woman will find me studly...especially if they have to do all the work during sex like being on top

i never did get a answer to my letter...but for about 10 years after i did start getting christmas cards from hustler magazine

i never did have sex unless you count my hand...i guess i turn women off sexually...honestly it makes me feel like a burn victim that is 70% burned

but i treat women as people and that is a lot better than jeff

i don't know if larry flynt liked my letter but i did get christmas cards so im taking that as a win :)

i am sorry i do have a correction...i have seen 2 naked women in rome...but it was far from anything sexual and i wish life had do overs

i was assigned to a british school for kids of diplomats and military people

but the building was really old and was not wheelchair friendly so the school hired a teacher and in back of our apartment was a tiny beach where no one but residents used so i had classes on the beach from 9 am to 1:30 or 2

one day there were older ladies in their 80s and they got naked and started sun tanning...my mind went blank and i was told by my teacher i was staring...that was my first and only naked woman experience in the real world

around noon they walked past us to go home...and in my beginner italian i said i was sorry and i was stuttering and looking very embarrassed...and i saw on their left arms concentration camp tattoos..and i said the first thing that was in my thoughts and i said thank you for being brave

I don't much about Larry Flynt, but I know two things.

People that I respect liked him and have said nice things about him since his death.

If it weren't for him being forced to be a First Amendment Warrior, porn would look very different in the US today.

mrwheels, thank you for sharing what is a very personal story with all of us. It's not easy to put all of your stuff out on the table, but what is great about this forum is that it is a great place to say whatever you want to say. If you dig back into some of the stuff I have posted in here, it would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck :)
Larry had a very colourful life...good and bad. What he did to protect the First Amendment was unprecedented, bold, crazy, and took a lot of ballz. He fought the fights that he believed in and opened the doors for a lot of people.
I'm glad that Hustler kept you on their mailing list for so many years. Pretty awesome that your letter made it into the inner sanctum...that was a pretty cool thing. Thank you for sharing your story.
