Actually, I've been wondering why Florida Man has such a bad rap. The way I learnt it growing up was:

The rest of the world thought Americans were crazy.

Americans would respond, "Its not all of us, its just those crazies in California".

And Californians would say, "Its not us, just the weirdos in Los Angeles".

And the people of Los Angeles would say, "Nope, just the kooks in Hollywood"

And the kooks in Hollywood would climb up on their roofs and proclaim "Yes, we're all f***** up".

OK, THAT works - Especially if that tan is on Samantha Grace. Not too much, though. A light tan to protect your skin is fine.
