That's exactly what I need something like that! Where I could leave it open when there's no one here or just porn people here and close it when family or others are over. But what happens when someone tries to pull a book off the bookshelf? Then they would see that it was a fake book?

I'm sure one could be made using wider shelves to hold real books. Or just make sure the fake books are ones that sound incredibly boring that no one would want to read.

You really shouldn't need to worry. Just make sure it's locked when people come over. When they ask, just tell them it's really a storage cabinet. No need to open it and show them. And you wouldn't be lying, either.

I so wish that I could display things that I am proud of for example all of my awards..Do you know where I keep them? In a lower cabinet along with some extra office supplies and vitamins way in the back hidden behind stuff. I always forget that I even have them..... Thats a shame. You should at least put them up in a display and make a video.

Or maybe bring out a few and reminisce with the audience on your cam shows.

Take a picture of the display.

Blow it up and put it on the back of a 'safe' framed picture.

Turn the picture around whenever you want to see them.

Spent a great long weekend with a half dozen friends, then spent Labor Day driving home (600 miles), arriving in time for the VNA Fantasy Football Draft. Great weekend.

Your awards deserve to be prominently displayed in the prettiest part of your house.
Just use switchable glass (there are different names, depending on the brand). You can have a display custom built (https://intelligentglass.net/applications/furniture/), but (much cheaper) it's also available as foil (search for "self adhesive smart film"). It's an adhesive foil and it comes with a remote control. When it's off, it's like frosted or tinted glass and when the power is on, it's see-through. I think it's even available at home depot.

Thank you Mike! I will try and continue... I do really like it here, I just don't often have too much to say! LOL And yes I feel very lucky to have those autographed photos of Vicky... I do have one more which is more an illustration she has signed for me, but it's an unusual size to find a frame for unfortunately! If I were braver I'd probably also display the signed DVD covers... not just from Vicky but other ladies too. So many autographs but never met any of them in person! LOL

I also have a couple of autographed pictures of Vicky. I framed my favorite one and put it on a shelf next to my favorite metal poster.
If you can't find a frame that's the right size for the signed illustration, you could buy a passepartout/picture mat or make one yourself.
