Its the 11th of November - Remembrance Day (or Veteran's Day in the US). Veteran's may not be sick kids, but they need support just as much.

Hi, Lance. I'm afraid I have to agree with DJ on this one. His topic is pretty specific. If a topic makes you think of something, but you're not sure how to answer, you can always do a search. There is a basic search and an advanced search. If you don't find anything that fits your thoughts, please feel free to start a new topic.

Sometimes it's hard to know exactly where to post something. I go through the same thing. Making new topics is never a problem. We have several instances where there are 2 or 3 topics about the same thing. On occasion I will find them and merge them. But, again, it's not a problem.

Personally, I still liked it better before Vicky changed it over, maybe 2 years ago? But there is a search function above that I think some people miss. In any case, no biggie.

Moving forward, Troops - I donated a little. I wish I could contribute more, but I try to remember that every little bit helps. You folks should help out if you can. It is a VERY worthwhile cause.

I think I just liked the breakdown. For those who weren't here, I guess actually there wasn't a lot of difference. But the subjects were more 'broken down,' meaning more divided into higher level topics. So there would be a topic titled "Christmas," and everything about Christmas would be under that. I thought it was pretty easy to find the topic you wanted. Vicky felt it would be much better to just put everything into one top topic with all of the threads under that one canopy.

Vicky felt that it would be better to have everything just under one main umbrella. I personally feel that it made it harder to find where to post something. But, in the big picture, isn't it really just the same thing? One top thread, with everything under that? I guess I felt that would male it harder to scroll down and find the thread you wanted. But there is the search function, which I use on occasion, and usually find pretty quickly what I'm looking for.

I do contribute to charities - but local ones. DJ's post did inspire me to make a contribution to our local children's hospital. Considering they saved my daughter from a potentially life threatening condition when she was 3, I'll always be grateful to them.
