Amongst the many things I dislike about OF is that there's no (legal) way to download the videos, if I pay for a video, I want to download it to be able to watch it whenever I want. What happens if OF decides to delete videos? Can the users who bought the videos still watch them?

You cannot download the videos at OF because both the content creator and the OF platform do that to protect against piracy and shared content. Though I've seen leaked OF vids and pics at other places. You need special equipment to do that. If you want to be able to download videos, then try over at Manyvids, Clips4Sale, and I-Want-Clips.

Clips4Sale ceased the selling of pictures at Images4Sale during October 2019. Images4Sale has been defunct for almost three years..

I think if someone is paying for our porn, and especially there on those platforms it's more expensive than it is joining our websites, they should be able to download it.. And I think those fans that follow us on those platforms and actually purchase our content to support us are not the ones who will be uploading it to the tube sites. That's why when I do custom videos for someone I always offer to send it to them by we transfer or Dropbox..

I don't think anyone was talking about illegally downloading, Liz. The thought I understood was, "I bought it. Why can't I download it?" But, then, I might have to agree that, if a site doesn't allow downloading and you figure out a way to do it anyway, then maybe that is "illegally downloading."

But, on the other hand, anyone selling anything has the right to set parameters or limits. In the OF case, they are saying, "Here's my clip. For $9.95, you can see it. You can't download it, but you can see it." And, I believe that is the right of OF to offer that. The models sign up for that when they join, and the members should understand that. I haven't really looked the site over, but the problem is, that part of the site doesn't seem to be defined anywhere. Meaning, I have never seen a statement on the site that says that items are not downloadable. If not, then the members have every right to be POed. It's misleading, because the norm is that you buy something, then you download it and keep it. So, to me, to offer a purchase without telling the member exactly what he is buying is a rip-off.

"NOTE: By buying video products from the models on this site, you are buying the right to view the models product. The video products sold on this site are not downloadable. They are for viewing only."

That way, you have notified the customer right up front what is going on. To do that after a purchase is already made is, to me, just a rip-off. Not by the models but by the OF site.

OK, I wrote the above, then decided to go take a look again. Well, guess what? I can only see the 2 models I am subscribed to, but, in both cases, below each video offering is a download button. So I tried it.

At least here, it is extremely slow. I'm sure the clip isn't that long. But when I started, my computer notification said "18 Minutes." And it seems to be pretty much taking that long, too.

Hi Walter - you can only view videos through streaming at Onlyfans. No downloads to one's oen compter are allowed. Though I've seen OnlyFans "leaked" videos at places around the internet. You have to have the equipment. Like Vicky says, if you want a custom video, then yes the content creator uses either Dropbox or Google Drive files and sends you the link.

Suddenly I am seeing download buttons beside posts under the "Messages" tab from models I follow, and others that I used to follow. The button doesn't appear for clips the model is selling, but is there for her messages to members.

Under the "Purchased" tab, the clips I have paid for appear and they have a "download," or "Original" button. Not sure why it's labeled Original, but it seems to download as well.

You cannot download videos. Drag your mouse into a video that you've purchased off the home area.

When you hover over the video, on the bottom right of the video you have three buttons:

1. A gear box - which then has the option of viewing the video in 240p, viewing the video in 720p and original. (if the content creator has made a 1080p video you'll be able to view it in 1080p.)

2. Picture-In-Picture

That just gives you the URL link. That should not give you the ability to be able to download videos. Then again messages are the notifications for the day. You have to contact the content creator through the their PM and DM areas when you want to purchase videos. That's the reason why girls are there. No downloads. It prevents stolen and shared content along with digital piracy. Otherwise, a pornstar's content could be leaked all over the internet. I've seen it at plenty of tube sites. Many of these unscrupulous sites have sections for leaked OF videos. You have to have special equipment in order to do it.

I fully agree with you, John. But the clips are here on my computer. I have opened them from that location, I have moved them around.

I don't remember ever seeing those buttons before. I don't know if this is some change that OF has made or what, but I have downloaded clips that I have purchased using those buttons. Once the download completes, there are the files in my Download folder or other designated location. Then I can open them from that location. They are not URL's and the file sie indicates they are full clips. (usually "crdownload" files. You need an app that handles those.

Here again, I'm talking about clips that I have purchased.

Hi Walter,

"Crdownload" means the download is from the Chrome browser. Are they getting saved to one of your externals? Not a temporary folder held in in your RAM? Very strange.

I looked at my purchases of Larkin Love, Bianca Beauchamp, Haub Suicide (she's a Suicide Girl), Amanda Paris, Antje Utgaard (Awesome Antje), Lynnie Marie, Brooke Vitton (at MV; now known as Avalon Hope at OF) Stefanie Gurzanski, and Kayla Moody videos. I don't have that option. I cannot download videos from OnlyFans. Unless the girl provides me with a Google Drive or Dropdown link. But then again, I have two customs; one from Larkin the other from
Bianca where the Google Drive and Dropdown links come into play. Those are saved on one of my externals. The links expire within forty-eight hours after purchase. Every other video I've bought over there at OF is of the "streaming" variety. That's the only thing offered. I can only view them over there.

With pictures, I have to save them as Microsoft snips or captures. The pictures enlarge too much when you left click on them.
