Over the bank holiday weekend my brother and I went up to Leavesden, north of London, and went on the making of Harry Potter studio tour there. I only watched the movies for the first time last year and this was something of a belated Christmas present from my brother, but it was good to get out of town if only for a day and do something like this. Years ago I did visit the Wizarding World at Universal Studios in Orlando with absolutely no clue or context for any of it... after doing the tour I wouldn't mind going back to compare the recreation to the actual sets!

Nice pictures., Stevie. Thanks. I think I've seen one of those movies, and not sure I even saw all of that one. But never got into it. But I know they were/are quite popular.

Thank you - that Scotland trip sounds awesome... I think a lot of the areas where the films are shot become tourist attractions. My next aim though is I would like to visit all the historical houses in the UK that have been used as Wayne Manor in the Batman movies! :)

There is a 'genre' that does this. Don't know if there is a specific site, but have seen clips of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" location shooting, and the Bullitt chase shooting on YouTube.
