Banking Discrimination

Wasn't sure if we had a thread anywhere on banking discrimination so I started one.

Doesn't seem like a good/fair thing in my opinion. If an activity is legal as a business then it seems wrong for the banks to prevent them trading effectively.

It's so scary. You can't function in today's world without a bank account.

I think it is horrible what Well Fargo is doing to sex workers. I was so upset when I listed to one of the ladies having used them for almost 30 years and now they are closing her account. WTF??? What sexy workers do is work!! They are making a living, paying their bills and taxes!! Maybe sex workers should not have to pay taxes on sex work money if it is not work!! Hmmmm!!!
I use to have an account with Well Fargo which was left to me by a relative and went in 1 day to ask about doing something with that money thru them. I was not told anything favorable and I soon closed the account. I do not like that bank.
I am just wondering how many more banks are going to do this crap!! They need to stop and go take a chill pill!

Chase did it about 2 years ago to several stars and even AEBN.... There was a huge upset in the industry for a time........ Most of those Chase customers moved to Wells Fargo because they thought they were more adult friendly. Turns out they're not. It just never ends.

What about forming a credit union? When I was in New London, we had our own credit union called Fort Trumbull FCU. Not only did I keep my money there, but I had a car loan through them as well.

Who in our industry would be able to do that? Creating something like that is a full time job. Why can't we just have all the normal rights that the average person would have?

I suppose the real issue is that some of the population doesn't believe working in adult industries is a legitimate profession. Whether it be banks, social media platforms, or other parts of society - there's a very unusual set of attitudes that some of the world has towards sex and the businesses involved in sex work.

The simplistic and cynical view is that there are some who just don't like people having fun in life.

Our societies have such weird views on what consenting adults do with each other for fun and business.

It is a shame that consenting adults can not have bank accounts to have to sex to have fun and business. The adults are doing something they enjoy. There are so many people out there who do not like seeing people happy and enjoying themselves. Some of those up tight people could learn a few lessons on how to relax and relieve stress!!! We would not be here if is was not for sex somewhere!!! Hehe!
