Personal Update (Or, Getting Back Into The Groove)

As you can plainly see, I am trying to get back on here more often than I have been in the past year or so; here's what has been happening to me personally to this point. Don't worry; it's nothing too serious or life-threatening; just some adjustments I have had to make.

Last February, I had to resign from my job where I had worked for 20 years because of a bout of chronic dizziness that had seriously affected my ability to do the job I was holding up. It got so bad that I would faint to the floor any time I would overwork myself or get over stressed. I took sick leave on January of 2022, then went on disability leave for the rest of that year, taking first short-term then long-term disability. While things ultimately did improve a bit to the point that I wasn't fainting every 2 days, it still wasn't enough so that I could return to my former occupation, and when my leave time ran out in December, I had to make a decision either to accept an occupation that could accommodate my medical condition or give up my job altogether. Unfortunately, no alternative job was available, so I decided that the best course was to just resign and take disability payments until either I recovered enough to apply for a new job or I could get federal disability benefits. I am currently on my former job insurance long-term disability program, so I am OK regarding my major expenses.

It does suck having to rely only on disability payments, but it beats the alternative of homelessness, and I am in the process of applying for federal disability to hold me over until I become officially eligible for Social Security/Medicare in 3 years.

The one good thing about this is that I have more free time to rest and recover, and I am rediscovering all the good things on here that I've been missing since work got in the way.

Which means that you will be seeing more of me here as I make up for lost time. Heck, I might even break my fear and get my bootybutt in a cam show or two.

Good to be back in here. At least, more back than recent past.

Always great to hear from you, Anthony. Really sorry to hear about all of your issues, and can only hope that your efforts pay off and you DO beat this thing.

But, cam shows? Get thyself in there, Anthony - to Lady Vette if nothing else. Remember, you don't HAVE to get on cam. I mean, even I have. And NOBODY wants to see that, :lmao:

Sorry to hear about your trials and troubles. I hope things all work out for the best. At least you have a plan and are following it, which is good. Better than wallowing in despair.

Wow I didn't see this thread until now. I wish the forum would send us a notice when there is a new thread? That is my only gripe about the forum. Well that, and the lack of a "like" button.

So what was causing the fainting Anthony?

Good luck Anthony. New medical issues can be overwhelming sometimes, but sounds like u are working to get through them. Hopefully everything will work out and things go well for u. I think it has done some good for members to talk about things on the forum cause u never know who u may be helping. Especially, when the symptoms, reactions and solutions are given.

True, Zany. It's that exchange of people's knowledge that leads to discoveries of new ideas and fixes.
