Very interesting. Everything I read shows that Europe cares more about privacy than usa. We seem to have just given up and hand over everything now, without a whimper with Google tracking our every move, Facebook facial recognition, Twitter now using our conversations to train their AI machines... we are beyond caring.....
:yeahbaby: Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Europe has always had a more civilized approach to work/life balance than the US. That's why European countries have better social nets.

When paying a $ 1 billion+ fine is just the cost of doing business, there is something rotten with the framework that allows that business to continue.

We have become a society where everyone is afraid to stand up and speak up! We have decided that anything goes. You can't offend anyone for any reason, no matter what they've done. We are pretty much REQUIRED to keep our mouths shut and not complain about anything. Even tho we may be 100% in the right, if we badmouth an idiot, there will always be those who will stand up and badmouth YOU for calling out an idiot. Even the COURTS have gone to decriminalizing pretty much everything. "You can't punish him! His mommie spanked him as a kid." Well, I spanked my kid, too. Today he is a working member of America's Border Patrol. Your kids grow up knowing whether you love them or not. So, remember, if your kid turns into a little shit, it's YOUR fault,

Please, teach your children well! And society needs to stand up and take control. Freedom does NOT mean that you have the right to do any damn thing you want at any time you want to anyone you want.

A free and responsible society dictates adherence to a majority agreed on set of rules and laws for living. If you violate those laws, you need to be punished. PERIOD! Humanity is STILL a Majority Rule society. People will learn if you help them. Children only learn what you (or someone else) teaches them. It's very simply a personal choice. You decide to obey the law, you'll get along just fine. You disobey the laws that society has set in place to facilitate the ease and fairness of daily life? You should get talked to and helped to understand the laws of the land, and what is possible if you disobey those laws. Then, FOLLOW THROUGH WITH IT!

American big business is driven by MONEY, not by any pathetic concern over other people's rights.
I can resist everything except temptation.
