Hey everyone,

This is my first thread in the VNA forums. :)

Why I meant to start this thread?
I haven't researched into sex positions, haven't check them totally in a while, but then I knew most of them well. We all are familiar with the common sex positions such as deepthroat, missionary, cowgirl, 69 and so on. Which no longer makes us wanna feel go research deeper because there are handful that we can already put them to use.

How can this thread benefit us?
So this thread would serve its purpose as a library/wiki/mini encyclopedia for all kinds of sex positions that exist in the world. This would be beneficial for us to check in here whenever we feel like looking into types of sex positions, saving your time and energy from wandering into numerous sites in future.


Here you can post the type of sex position that comes to your mind, one position per one post.

You can make use of the following template to make the posts in this thread;

Description: (You briefly describe a few lines about the sex position or how it is done, or if it has got any specialties compared to other types)


*Note: It is optional to post what sex position you like most, but I suggest you save this part for later, as in future I will make the second part of this thread, an extension to this, where we all can post our fav sex position in the post.

Now that I could imagine it is not impossible and these can be completed all when done in a cycle to an extent.

Making up some positions do not go as easy as shown in the picture. Some positions require great amount of flexibility, so as to avoid careless injuries due to over stretching lol

Honestly, I never explored Kama sutra. The instances I came across Kamasutra were only when I was randomly browsing into stuff online or reading some random books. Most of its style is common to what we do in the rest of the world except that Kamasutra is a bit spiritual. It seems to be shown as being followed in India everywhere but not actually popular here.

I was never interested in Indian style of sex, I was already exposed and habituated to western sex styles from the beginning. Many people in the world still love how Americans do it, just as the saying goes "Nobody...Nobody does it better!" Even my friends discuss the same.

However, I do love the yoga sex, and the other versions of it like tantric ones which could be related to Kamasutra.

There aren't really much differences between Kamasutra and Western Sex positions in the modern world. The former involves inclusion of foreplay with some vanilla style in between, while the latter gives you freedom to go all out the way you want it to be lol

As far as I know, even now Bollywood has an unwritten taboo against depicting a kiss in mainstream movies.

I've never looked into the Kama Sutra. I just wanna get naked and do it. I can find plenty of positions on my own, lol. Speaking of the Kama Sutra, as you may know, a city in Italy named Pompeii was buried by 20' or so of ash and lava from Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. They started excavating Pompeii in the 1700's. In addition to all of the "bodies" they found, they discovered that numerous places have "erotic" paintings on the walls. Well, we call it porn, but, whatever, it's been around for, well, more than 2300 years, now, lol. I read that the Kama Sutra might have been written in the 3rd century.

Sidebar: The 'bodies' they found weren't really bodies. The bodies had long since disappeared. What they found were "shapes." The bodies were covered in ash, which hardened over 1800 years and encased them. So when they were found, they decided to drill holes into the voids and fill them with plaster or something. Then they broke off the outer covering and what was left were the 'bodies' (shapes) of the people in their dying positions. To me, it's pretty interesting. Look up "Pompeii" for more info. I also liked a movie named "Pompeii." It stars Kit Harington Emily Browning,

It is amazing how old civilizations valued sex and sex positions, and engraved them into stones for others such as in India, in Europe including the Greece and the Rome. Egyptians were more sexually active in their days.

Sex paintings on temples from old civilizations are much similar across the world, both in the drawings and architecture. It is just nobody thought of introducing a sex book documented apart from Kamasutra.

In Rome and Egypt, they had some of the sex restrictions. However, people had active sex life regardless of the those restrictions and got laid with multiple partners.

One of the facts the Egyptians liked porn, they had their enjoyment by looking at the art of sex positions carved out on their wall paintings.

The fact that people were willing to create their own depictions of sexual imagery speaks volumes to both the human power of sexual desire and the often failed attempts by authority to harness and throttle it for their own purposes. As long as human beings have erections and wet cooches, there will always be sexual imagery and sexual desire; the trick is to live with it in a way that respects everyone's mutual will, consent, and pleasure. Especially amongst consenting, willing adults.

People are more happy when they get more sex AJK, it is nice when authority too acknowledges the presence of sex by welcoming it with better understanding.

Everybody does sex, there are some who admit enjoying it with honesty and respect. Then there are those who are shy and enjoy it, but are not much openminded, these are the ones who are bad and pretend to be good ones. It is interesting to see people be apart of inevitable sexual desires and engage themselves into sex at some point of life and do it filling up their heart contents.


It feels blessed to have sex experience through all the way from puberty, adolescence, and finally adulthood. Love it from the moment it becomes the part of our lives, at the beginning, the sexual desires and activity are spontaneous for few ages until we pay attention to keep our urges in control till next few years, then it just becomes an excellent habitual routine for a happy life.

Visiting Pompeii as a tourist in the late 60's, some of those erotic paintings were shown to the male tourists, (but not the women folk at that time!). Seriously, the tour guides took the men aside to show them the pictures; as an older teen, I guess I qualified. One picture I remember was of a centurion with his (exaggerated) penis on one side a scale, and a stack of gold coins on the other side. He was obviously being "evaluated".
