After having a bit of insomnia for a couple of days, I finally got some sleep. As a result, I missed Vicky's show on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024! That was a real bummer, because I had answers to all her questions!

Q. Is she the only one old enough to remember The Flintstones?
A. No, I used to watch the show regularly.



Q. Does Vicky's leopard-print top make her look like Wilma Flintstone, and didn't Wilma Flintstone also have a ponytail?
A. Wilma had a bun in back and a strange cinnamon-bun looking thing in the front. Her dress was white. Fred had spots on his clothes in the cartoons and triangles in the movie. It looks like they came up with their own hair design for Wilma in the movie.

Q. Was Wilma busty, and was Betty bustier than Wilma.
A. Looks like the answer to both is "no", if you go by the canon of the cartoons.

Q. Has anybody done a porn parody of The Flintstones?
A. Yes. I don't know where I got this gif from. I wish I had a copy of the full movie. There is an excellent artist in Brazil who has drawn 3 fantastic Flintstones stories. I have been to his site, but some of the english translation pages are broken, and when I tried to join so I could download his parodies, it told me that there wasn't a processor available for my location. I would have to contact them directly. I am uncertain how to find a trustworthy way to get a payment to someone in Brazil.

Q. Did Betty and Wilma have sex while the boys were gone?
A. According to the live-action gif, it looks like yes. In the cartoon parody, both couples were having an orgy with The Jetsons, who were visiting. Out of three stories, there were only two frames from story number 2 with Betty and Wilma having sex.

Q. Were Betty and Barney kinky swingers?
A. The cartoonist apparently heard the same rumor. While the Flinststones, the Rubbles, and the Jetsons all appear to be swingers, the cartoonist chose to have Betty be the one to do this:

I watched the Flintstones (and Scooby) a lot as a kid.

I may have a copy of the Flintstones movie, so I probably watched it at least once. Not much of it comes to mind, though, so apparently I didn't like it. I really disagreed with the casting of Rosie O'Donnell as Betty, even just looking at the movie posters. I did a little more research however, because I remembered that there was a secretary in that movie that might have been wearing an outfit closer to Vicky's. That turned out to be the case! Halle Berry played "Sharon Stone":

I have to investigare further, but it looks like the people who made the parody that gif came from also made other high-quality parodies. Unfortunately, the web address they provide in their trailers looks more like a PornHub clone. Like I said, I have to look further, but I suspect you can't get their full movies anymore. Bummer.

The only problem with their parody is that Daphne Blake is a redhead, not a blonde. Speaking of redheads, so is Wilma Flintstone. Family guy did a joke about that. Lois and Peter Griffin joined the mile-high club while trapped in the bathroom on an airplane. They made the Quahog news. The newscaster said they didn't have a picture of the actual couple, but they had an artist's conception of what an attractive redhead inexplicably married to a fat man would look like. And they showed a picture of Fred and Wilma Flintstone.

I didn't see that movie. Does he say something like "Sean Penn, what and actor!" in the movie? I looked at a couple of clips to try and find it myself, with no luck. The only "See it, learn it, live it" reference was in what looked like a fast food joint. The guy who pointed the sign out looked really familiar, like I have seen him as a character actor in lots of other places. I liked seeing Ray Walston playing "Mr. Hand", but I didn't like Mr. Hand's personality.
