Our Valentine’s days?

Today being Valentine’s Day I thought I’d let you all in on what my day, and yours, entailed, what did you wear? Do anything fun or “fun”?
I set up my brand new air fryer. First ever. I have certain dietary restrictions but we got new food to cook, hopefully it means I can eat better.
Then I saw my friend of 28yrs. First time in literally years even though he lives just a couple of miles away. We played tabletop game. Now I am gonna watch a cheesy movie.
Oh and wearing my special Vicky Vette VNA tee that I got, and lost forever ago.
What about you all. Genuinely curious.

I"m near 81 with no Gf's, Highwulf. Well, tht's not enturely true. I have a few girl friends, but no girlfriend, lol. So I went out to eat breakfast, aid said Happy Valentines Day to Yvette and Yvonne, then came on home and lazed my life away .

I get it Walt. I probably wouldn’t have gone to my friend’s since the weather here is horrific but my cleaner drove me. Most of the women in my life have their own valentines. But hey Vicky tweeted me that she liked my top so that’s a bonus. Have a great one y’all. I wonder what Zany’s up to. Hope it’s more fun than here

Let's see, I wore my JWST tee shirt today. I did a fair amount of adulting: I had a checkup at the doctor's office; went shopping and picked up some groceries and a handful of prescriptions; had the car inspected and a minor problem addressed; and then came home to spend the afternoon and evening playing video games and falling down YouTube and TikTok rabbit holes. I also picked up a treat for dinner, lasagna (the longest-lasting love of my life). I hope everyone else has had as wonderful of a day as I have had (or more so!).

I agree with the long lasting love affair with lasagna! Although I sometimes two time my lasagna with chocolate! I just can't choose, and need them both!

Chocolate is now a forbidden love for me, but I still yearn for it.

On the upside, I indulged in my love of lasagna again today, after watching the first Formula 1 race of the year. it has been a good day, so far.

Not a fan of the high cacao chocolates. I occasionally (rarely) have a small piece of chocolate, but that's about it these days. The days of downing an entire bag of kisses are long gone (but not forgotten).

I've been 'craving' sweets a lot more the last maybe year or so. I didn't drink sodas or eat much candy for probably 20 years. I still wanted sweetener in my coffee, on my cereal, etc. Just not the blast from candy or pop. But that has recently started again.

I looked it up and it doesn't seem to be anything serious going on. But probably is something I should keep an eye on. When I say 'craving,' I don't think I mean in the true sense of the word - more like 'eating more than I did in the past.' I might get one or two candy bars when I check out and 2 or 3 six packs as I run out at home. I only drink 0 to 1 a day, with the very occasional 2 so that lasts me a while. So I guess I'm not worried yet.

I remember not too long ago eating 18 pieces of dark chocolate in one setting. Didn't plan it that way, lol. I started trying dark because Vicky suggested it. It has an acquired taste, but I kept at it. Two- three (?) months ago was shopping for snacks when I saw a bag of Dove maybe 80-90% dark 18 pieces. I thought 'that'll be ideal for the occasional snack. Well, once I started, one led to 2, 2 led to 3, 3 led to, well, you can see where this is going, lol.
