AAAaahhh, my favorite time of year. I just love waking up a 3 AM because the time changed.
WHILE I SLEEP!!!! :lmao:

I'm mainly posting for everyone as primarily a reminder, it's here again. A number of places, England, for example, drop back from Daylight to Standard time on Oct. 27th. That means that, for a week, you should go to the cam room one hour earlier than usual. After a week, you move back up an hour because the United States and others change then, on Nov 3rd..

Here's a great chart. There;s a list for most all countries.

Euro time being different is bizarre you'd think they'd agree on things like that...

Thinking and staying ahead of the bloody Yanks --

Wait! The Colonies are changing on Nov 3rd? HA! We GOT 'em. We'll change in October. That'll confuse the hell out of 'em." :lmao:

Time again for our favorite time of year, when, next Saturday night at midnight, we turn all our clocks ahead an hour, thereby losing a hard hour of good drinking time.
:yuck: :gotohell: :1106: :fail:

But, don't worry. You'll make it up in November when you turn back an hour.
:yeahbaby: :friends: :walt: :penisdance: :hula: :bouncy7:

Don't forget now. You don't want to be missing your Sunday favorite nekkid babes on the VNA.

I should have specified 'in America" as not every country/location changes at once. It's really a random mess for a week or two. Here's a good chart.

Remember, if you live in Antarctica, you don't change until March 16th.

Tonight's the night, folks. I don't know - for some reason, I like to wait until Sunday morning to reset my clocks. Maybe this year, I'll do it tonight. No matter when I do it, It IS a little shocking to suddenly reset your clock and realize, ":Dang! Just lost an hour of my day," lol. But it's worse in November. "Dang! It's only 3 A.M.?" We'll see.

Problem is, I don't understand all the BS over gaining/losing an hour. I don't mean the change, I'm talking about all of the medical problems people are talking about. I don't understand. It's only an hour, and it's in the middle of a Saturday night. So it seems to me that the only folks who should really be bothered are folks that are working. I mean, it's only an hour. You go to sleep, you wake up. What's to worry? As far as I can remember, I've NEVER had issues. Not to say that others can't or don't. But it sure sounds strange. And I do know that there are plenty of folks out there who simply like to gripe.

I mostly use my phone and my computer and those reset automatically. because my sleep schedule is so fucked up, I sometimes don't even notice the start or end of DST. It can be up to a day or two later when I realize and reset my microwave and stove clocks.

Despite the alarming number off accidents the day of the spring switchover, I'm a morning person and don't mind getting off work earlier to enjoy a little more sun in the evening. Bring it on!! :yeahbaby: :mrcool:

I've never had a problem with it either. Sometimes I'll go to bed an hour earlier so I dont lose any sleep but usually I just dont bother
Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you are up to :-)

Just like I said, the change forward apparently occurred a an hour-and-a-half ago and I didn't even notice because I was busy. It was only when I was looking at shutting everything down and going to bed that I noticed it was 4:30 and thought to myself, "It doesn't feel that late. <light bulb moment> Oh yeah."

I don't usually have a problem, provided I remind myself the night before. Last night, I forgot to remind myself, and if it hadn't been an early morning text from an internet scammer, I might have missed my Sunday morning run.

So the existence of those scammers does a have useful purpose after all.

Tonight's the night, folks. At precisely 2AM, you will become 1 hour younger. If there's anything really stupid you've always wanted to do with your life, tonight's the night you want to do it. So go out at 1 A.M. and spend the next hour doing whatever mayhem you like. Then, at 2, all the clocks go back and it never happened -- right? You're INNOCENT! :rotffl:

"No, Bob, it wasnt me with your hot wife last night. I went home and went to bed at 1." (Whispered: "...the second one, heehee.")

But you gotta get done by 1:59. Because at 2 your pretty girl turns back into a pumpkin, lol.

My VCR is automatic, still haven't reset the M/W, the coffee maker nor the oven - nor a few other small clocks lying around here. I'm tired of it, lol.

i seem to be having more trouble this time, Mike. To me, I think it's the light. That 1-hour abrupt light change is throwing me off. Morning and evening I feed my pets. The light change throws all that out the window, lol. It's harder for me to get motivated at the same times while Bailey sits here looking at me, like "Feed me, you old fool!"
