I see from Saras schedule she is in Cancun Mexico. In light of what is going in Mexico we should keep her in our thoughts and hope she stays safe.
:help: I'm almost down for the count.

Her and everyone else down there - visitors and locals alike.

I spent a week in Cancun a few years ago. I'd hate to see violence hit there.

But, actually, I've always been anti-violence.

Sara is just fine! She said the media really blew it up to be worse than it was.

I don't doubt that. Media, including supposedly honest, good news reporting has gone totally bonkers.

No, thats the way media has always been. Remember the old adage: Dog bites man is not news, man bites dog is.

I've lived in places where "things" have been going on, and we just go about our every day lives. Then we (family) would get a letter (yes, this was in the days before internet, when even a long distance phone call was a big deal and an international phone call indicated a major emergency), asking about all the troubles. And we'd write back say "Oh really. Didn't realize all that was going on here until we got your letter".

I remember times you could listen to the major network news and trust what they said.
