What a lousy rotten day... we've been staining and staining this deck and painting flower boxes and stuff for the past week... I accidently flicked my brush and the stain splashed and went straight into my eye... of course I freaked, I only have one good eye, I'm blind in my left eye, and the stain went in my right, so if I damage that one, I'm cooked, no driving, reading, watching tv, omg could you imagine? So I rushed into the shower, turned it on full blast, held my eye wide open with my fingers and flushed it out for 10 min... I went to the doctor and he said I have mild corneal abrasion, probably not even from the "total wood preservative" which is a mildecide, fungicide, uv protectant and pigment for the wood, but from the force of the water on my eyeball, lol... (maybe I over reacted who knows, but I was scared) So my vision is a little blurred and I have a pounding headache, my eye is sore, the doc gave me drops to put in every couple of hours...

Anyway, the newsletter was already scheduled to be sent out before and it went out. Rokkerr and I were still going to do the camshow tonight even despite my eye being red, but get this - the resort we are staying at just ran out of water! The well pump broke down and the whole place has no water! It won't be restored until tomorrow afternoon. So after working all day in the sun, you better believe we are filthy, and covered in "rustic" stain (not that kind of filthy!) we can't even wash up for a camshow, so forget it!

We'll postpone it to tomorrow night, ciao for now, I'll post more in a bit, and I'll do some cool updates for ya tonight ok?

Ms Vicky, do you know how many performers would go to the length you just did to explain why you want be gracing us tonight. None of them, they just wouldn't show up. I don't want to beat the horse after the barn door was left open, but you should always wear safety glasses, especially when they as beautiful as yours.

Yes, dear, listen to Uncle Donor. SAFETY! That's why they talk about it. Wear those glasses (both of you.) Be careful, dear. Take it easy. We'll wait.

I'm glad you flushed your eyes and went to the doctor afterwards. Fortunately it's mild and not more serious. That's a terrible thing to have to go through. Get better first and work when you're back up to it. For now, please just relax and heal. No sense in forcing a show when you have a sore eye baby. Make sure you also wear goggles if you give Rokkerr a hummer. :!:

DAMN! Vicky, I think I voted two 9's instead of 10's. Dang! Dang! Dang! My mind told me the last number was a 10, but I was looking as I signed off and noticed that there is no 10. It's labeled "Best". So, I'm sure I punched the "9" button. Oh, DRAT!! I'm so ashamed! I must be punished. Ok, Vicky, I will meekly accept my punishment of 10 whacks in the face with a large, warm breast.

Let's face it, Rokkerr, I should at least get an E for effort. Do you know how hard it it (no pun intended) to look for a stinkin' button when VICKY is on the screen????

Vicky - please continue with the eye drops and get plenty of rest and beauty sleep tonight...

Great show Vicky. I haven't seen you in action for a while due to time schedules and whatnot but I can see you haven't lost even an iota of your showmanship and energy. Congratulations!

BTW, that glitter looked great under the lights.

Yeah, the glitter was a cool idea I think, one day I'll cover myself in it and shoot a bunch of stills... I like doing the oil or lotion but don't want to do the same things over and over, there's only so many things you can do in a one hour camshow so we're always trying to think of new ideas....

my eye is fine, just slightly sore, but barely noticable... thank you for asking!

I'm gonna try really hard to get all the camshow archives up to date, they are such a pain to do when we have technical problems because I have to go through the whole tape again cutting out all the parts where the feed went down and then re-encode the whole thing, so it's painstakingly slow... but I'll try this weekend, and I have a cool little video that we shot from the vette when the battery was down... I'll try to get that up this weekend too....

what did you think of the blue tape? lol... we had to really rig the camera, how funny, you should have seen it, it had blue tape all over it, criss crossing it to make sure the firewire cable didn't wiggle and lose the feed, so Rokkerr went a little nuts with the tape and put it on me as well, it gave us ideas for another photo shoot!

I thought everythong was great last night. The blue tape was nice, but less face it you would look beautiful in anything even a toe shack.

I am glad the eye is getting well. Take care of them, they are too pretty not to.

Have you heard Fergie new song Glamorous? Everytime I hear it I think of you.

Can't wait to see the cam shows again, The stills you posted in the dairy I could not open them up. It could be me.

No it wasn't you, we are on wireless here at the cabin, it must have dropped halfway through the upload, try again now... whoops, wasn't that, it was issue of dreamweaver changing filename extensions to lowercase... fixed now.

thanks!
