Shyla Stylez, August Ames, Yuri Luv, Olivia Nova, Olivia Lua.... Gee do you think it's because porn turned into one great big fucking circus? Yet Nikki Benz is being countersued because she called attention to the fact that porn sex is just way too rough and actually physically dangerous? The irony in that?
One person tries to stand up for herself and she gets sued?
Where/when/how is this going to end? How many more young girls in the prime of their life have to die for us to see?
Yes there has always been drug use in porn. Of course there is, who wouldn't need to escape when the rest of the world is calling us useless sluts, we do porn because we are too stupid to do anything else, we are to be fucked and thrown away like a cumrag. We are just cum dumpsters right? Social media ridicules us endlessly. Have you read some youtube comments? It makes me want to cry? Who wouldn't want to do drugs after reading what the rest of the world thinks of you?
You know who I mostly blame this on, Vicky?? US. The FANS.
We are the ones who push these poor young women into doing scenes they might not be emotionally ready for quite yet, and then condemn them to the lowest pit of Hell for not going even further.
We are the ones who insist that they get pushed into 5 scenes a week with Brazzers or BangBros, only to scream if the ensuing scene isn't posted to Pornhub or another tube site to be downloaded for free.
We are the ones who are pushing them into "Why don't you take big dick up your ass every week?" then bitch and moan about why they don't make their shoots due to sickness or injury.
I say the fans rather than the producers and directors because were it not for the demand of fans, questionable producers would not be as able to abuse their power.
I also think, as Josh does, that social media also accelerates the problem because it allows anyone with a microphone and multiple TL's to bully down and trash women for their own vicarious pleasure. It's as if some guys think that because they purchase a membership in a site or pay a fee for a camshow, they should own the woman and she is liable to serve at their beck and call. That's not even true for active escorts or street-working sex workers; why in the hell do they think it should be so for cam girls or porn performers?
It doesn't help matters either that some guys use social media to play their own Captain Avenger fantasy games to pitch porn women against each other just to assuage their own personal jerkoff fantasies.
I joined this here website/network in 2004 and have stayed here since because you and the rest of the VNA ladies stand above the crowd in beauty, performance, and commitment to quality and proper interaction with fans as people, not just bank accounts.
The women who do porn and sex work are perfectly fine when they are given both creative control and personal integrity over their own content and bodies. Neither directors nor fans should be allowed to deny them that power.
We need to support our porn performers better, by buying their product AND by having their back when they are down and strengthening those who dare to fight back against the slut-shaming and whore-shaming of the outside world. That would help prevent more suicides better than anything else. Well..that, and porn women organizing to protect their rights.
BTW...go over to
Mercedes Carrera's TL and see her slowly and surgically dispatch a foolish prude daring to bully her for her chosen profession. More of that, please, and the bullying will cease. An example below:
