Winter storm watch Wednesday thru Thursday, winter has arrived early

Saw rain on the forecast next Wednesday or Friday! I will be doing a rain dance. We haven't had rain in about a month. This rainy season is off to a late start. I see we are dropping into the low 70's and mid 60's. Which is why I live in california. sweater weather here we come!

Yesterday it was in the 60s here during the day, and I saw two ladies out walking their dogs and no joke they were bundled up in winter jackets you know the bubbly kind that Charlee Chase wears LOL with their hoods up, tied tightly around their heads and they were all hunkered down was quite hilarious as I drove by with my windows down enjoying the fresh air.

Weekend before last, I tried to wear shorts playing in a golf tourney. Couldn’t. Hate wearing pants but it was too dang cold. I did go to Vegas last weekend and it was nice.

It snowed for about 1 hour yesterday but it never sticks. Once every like 3-5 years we get dumped on but not this one (so far). We had a windstorm last week that knocked power out for around 250K people and I was one of them. I must have lost power 3 times that day.

Walt I hope they had the snow plows out to avoid mayhem on the streets On Sunday we had a bit of snow here too Walt, like 18" of the stuff, so I had to stay here for Christmas, as I didn't want to take the chance driving for 10 hours home.

We have an extreme cold warning for tonight, I just got home from dinner and had to walk 1/2 km in -33C. Just the wind is bad tonight, gusting to about 60kph, so they say it feels like -50 or so. I always laugh when people say, I'd rather deal with the cold then the heat, try this for a few hours, they'll change their minds, unless their out of their minds. I don't know what's worse, the snow or when it's to cold to snow, at lease the Northern Lights were nice tonight
