Geez, some folks just don't get it. Ok, you're fucking in a strangers yard. They call the cops. You figure, "Gee, honey. All we got are misdemeanors. That's no fun. Can't brag about that.

Let's get a couple of felonies on there."

I heard something on a local radio station about someone in Texas who heard there was a warrant out for his arrest. So he got drunk to get his courage up and surrendered himself at the local police station. Turns out there wasn't a warrant for his arrest. But. Since he showed up drunk they had to arrest him for being intoxicated in a public place. (I'm assuming he did not drive himself to the police station.)

And then there was a story about 2 guys in Florida who thought it would be a good idea to corner an alligator and get it drunk by pouring cans of beer into it. I understand they were arrested for harassing an alligator. Although in this case it might have been better to just Darwinism take its natural course.

French law is amazing!

"Xavier X was an engineer for the TSO railway services company," ruled Madame Claire Chaux in the Court of Appeal in Paris, "who died during a business trip to the Loiret region of central France in 2013. His death occurred during an extramarital sexual encounter with a perfect stranger, but as an employee, under French law, he was entitled to social protection during the whole time of his trip, regardless of the circumstances. Sexual activity is normal, like taking a shower or eating a meal, so his death should be regarded as an industrial accident, and TSO must pay compensation to his family."
Upholding the findings of a lower court, the Court of Appeal ruled that "article L 411-1 of the Social Security Code holds an employer liable for their employees during the entire length of a business trip. It doesn't matter whether the accident happens during the performance of a professional task or during their normal life. TSO have argued that this man was not carrying out professional duties when he joined a guest in her hotel room, but that is irrelevant. They have not demonstrated that the man had broken off from his business duties in order to have sex, so according to French law he was still under their employment. Therefore the Court of Appeal finds TSO liable for compensation."

(Le Point, 7/9/19 & French Court of Appeal judgement, 27/5/19)

Politicians are the same all over the world - as this article from Mileno, Mexico proves ......

"We came here yesterday to meet Mayor Moises Aguilar Torres," local residents told reporters in Pichucalco, "not a cardboard cut-out of him. He was scheduled to visit this building site, and we wanted to discuss our concerns about the delays, and to ask when the municipal clinic will finally be completed. The mayoral website even reported his arrival, but you can see from the photograph that he wasn't here, only his assistants and a life-size cardboard cut-out of the mayor, with one hand raised in a fist salute. we've had no explanation of why he didn't come here. Perhaps he thinks we are too chasm (lowlife) to bother with"
However, the mayor's office was unrepentant. "This is how our President tales action for the benefit of the citizenry in health matters." said mayoral aide Bustamante Maza, "because serving the electorate isis commitment. Yesterday, I and my colleagues led a health brigade to the Ejido Tectuapan community in Pichucalco, for the benefit of the inhabitants, in conjunction with the medical staff of the Southeast Clinic.Residents were given personalised attention and were supplied with basic medicine. We use the cardboard cut-out of the mayor when he cannot personally attend a public event."
Maza refused to say whether the cut-out of the mayor will be used on future occasions.

Some things to ponder ...........

Many years ago, in Scotland, a new game was invented. It was ruled "Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden."
Thus, the word golf enter the English language.

The first couple to be shown in bed together on prime time TV was (tell you at the end!".............

It is impossible to lick your own elbow!

The cost of raising a medium sized dog to the age of 11 = $16,400

In the 1400s a law was made in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb.
Hence we speak of "rule of thumb"

Each king in a pack of cards represents a king from history -
King of Spades = King David
King of Hearts = Charlemagne
King of Diamonds = Julius Caesar
King of Clubs = Alexander the Great

If a statue in a park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air the rider died in battle. If the horse has one leg in the air, the rider died from wounds sustained in battle.
If the horse has all four legs on the ground the rider died of natural causes.

What do bullet-proof vests, windscreen wipers and laser printers have in common?
They were all invented by women.

The naughty couple in bed were ..............Fred & Wilma Flintstone

By the way, 75% of you reading this will have tried to lick your elbows!! :signhammer: :signhammer:
