I thought I'd go ahead and revive our Fantasy Football topic to alert all of our new members. If you're a past footballer, you got the message that our draft will be Sept 5th at 9 P.M. Eastern. I'm sure that Michael (our Commish) will be here soon to provide info for anyone wanting to join.
Be forewarned. I'm going to actually study this year and do much better I mean, even the blonde beat me last year. A LOT! - and not in the GOOD way, Oh, what a revoltin' development THAT was,

Looking forward to a middle of the pack finish again this year.

Driving 600 miles on Monday, but I should home by 8 PM ET. If not, I'll take the defaults and see what I can do with them this year.

I can't believe that I missed it. I was here in time. I"m in a different time zone and that throws me off. I guess I'll just have to work twice as hard this year.

Well, I certainly don't understand this. I got this email this morning. Geez, I wasn't even there. I may have to miss next years draft, too, lol. They gave me a freaking "B"?
"Thank you for completing your draft with Yahoo Fantasy Football! With a manager like you, TheOldGuy's Team should be in great shape, no matter what the computers say.
But let's check with them anyway! We sat down with our friends at Stats Perform and took a look at your draft. After crunching the numbers and throwing some darts, your draft received a:"B""

Well, the first game of the season wasn't all that fantastic, if you ask me. I expected the Bills to do well, but I thought LA would be much better, Especially with Matthew Stafford. I like the Lions (losers that they are, lol) but I always thought Stafford deserved a better team. After last year, I figured he was on his way.
But last night, LA just didn't look all that good. Especially next to the Bills.

I have both Josh Allen and the Bills Defense on the Opossums, so my weekend (and season) is off to a decent start. I just hope the rest of my guys can keep up the momentum. This year will be tough for me because I have been a Bills fan for nearly 40 years, so when they do well, I'll be happy on behalf of both them and my fantasy team. But when they do poorly, it will hurt twice as much. That's the reason I normally don't choose any Bills for my fantasy team, but having the #1 rated QB and #1 rated defense available when I was choosing those positions, I just couldn't pass them up.

Well, since I don't understand any of this, week 4 should be fun. Last week I made several changes and got beat by the last place team, So this time, I only made a couple changes. Gonna be interesting to see how that works out.
If this doesn't work, I may have to find out where Davest lives so I can sneak in there some night and do a Vulcan Mind-Meld on him
