For me, there would have to be so much dressing that the salad would lose its benefits. Although, that particular salad looks healthier than most I've seen.

My son is going on couple of runs in late May/early June, but I don't think they're related to the solstice, since that's late June.

Okay, so obviously that's not the part of Vicky's show that I'm usually paying attention to the most lol, but Rokkerr's weight loss is super impressive!
How did you achieve that Rokkerr?

I try to at least cut down on sugar , I used to drink a lot of juice mixed with mineral water during the day, which adds up to an insane amount of sugar.
I've lost 10 pounds in the last 8 or so weeks.
And when I feel the sudden urge to hit random strangers in the streets (which I really hope is related to my sugar withdrawal ), I have a Fanta.

@liz he just stopped eating all junk food!

He eats only fish, seafood and chicken, lots of vegetables and fruit, protein shakes.... no bread potatoes or pasta..... complex carbs like Scottish oatmeal etc.... it's shocking!

How would we do that Lance?

In the olden (pre-covid) days, runners would congregate at the starting line about an hour before the run to chill and chit chat. The run start would be staggered with the idea that everyone should cross the finish line just as the sun sets on solstice day. So each runner starts at sunset minus their 5k run time.

To do it virtually, same idea except that the runs all happen in different places. Since its virtual, the start time is also a bit more relaxed, so any time in the late afternoon/evening of the 21st. See if you can get any of the other VNA girls to "join"; I'm sure some of them must run also. We could all post pictures.

He sounds like a dedicated runner. I only do local runs. I don't travel to run. Although I could be coaxed into going to Iceland for a 5k once travel returns to some semblance of normal.
